Advertising Business Consultancy (ABC-Ayr) was started in 1996 by advertising 'guru' Alex Knox with a team of 2, the business was responsible for managing some high profile accounts including The Bed Shed and South Ayrshire Council. In late 2001 ABC-Ayr was awarded agency recognition which led to rapid business growth. The decision to become a limited company followed, together with the name change to Advertisingworks Scotland Ltd.
Advertisingworks currently has a team of 7 and 1 associate who provide the most complete marketing solutions in the West Coast of Scotland. We are also one the few agencies in Scotland that has official advertising agency recognition. Our clients range from large public sector organisations to small independents and sole traders.

We do this by getting to know our clients and their business and then we give them the benefit of our expertise and our honest advice. We don’t make recommendations unless we believe they will generate effective business results. We are the filter that saves our clients from dealing with everyday headaches (advertising calls) thereby freeing up time to concentrate on their core business. We have a client retention rate which way exceeds industry standards. We are extremely proud of this, especially as we do not tie our clients in to contractual obligations. We also pride ourselves on our honesty and integrity. We want to build a long-term business relationship with our clients and that can only be built on trust. |
